Our People ARE Our Business
RDA is a mission-driven, employee-owned, majority women-managed social purpose corporation. Our headquarters are in Oakland, CA. RDA operates across the United States, working to help government departments and agencies, foundations, CBO’s and non-profits to best meet the needs of the communities that they serve.
We bring our collective expertise to help you with your planning, program design, assessment, evaluation, and grant-writing needs. We focus on driving change in and across those public systems designed to avert crisis and build up individuals and communities. From social services to workforce development, RDA is here for you.
Our Work is Grounded in Forty Years of Experience
Since RDA’s founding in 1984, we’ve been grappling with solutions to complex social challenges and working with our clients to solve them.
The RDA team holds a big picture perspective while being pragmatic, we rely on data to inform change, we lean into challenging conversations, and we remain committed to learning.
We work at the strategic intersection of applied research, planning and implementation, assessments and evaluations, and grant-services to help our clients to achieve their equity-based goals.
RDA is Employee Owned
In 2023 RDA became an employee ownership trust (EOT), adding a commitment to our current and future employees to our mission to create equity-centered, evidence-driven solutions that strengthen communities. We thank the following partners for their invaluable support in achieving employee ownership:

RDA’s mission is to work toward a just and equitable society by partnering with diverse stakeholders in addressing barriers to individual, organizational, and community well-being.
