Out of One, Many. RDA Enters a New Era of Employee Ownership…
January 25, 2023
We are delighted to announce that RDA Consulting is officially an employee-owned social purpose corporation! After more than a year of planning and solidifying financing and agreements, employees have purchased RDA from our former owner and CEO, Patricia Marrone Bennett, PhD. With this transition, Dr. Bennett has created a lasting legacy for our 38-eight-year old consultancy.
RDA has always operated on a mission to help public and social sector organizations best meet the needs of our most vulnerable communities. This change ensures an enduring benefit for our employees as well as a corporate form that allows RDA to prioritize our broader social objectives along with financial success.
Patricia will continue to support RDA as President Emeritus and Chair of our Trust Stewardship Committee. I have assumed the role of Chief Executive Officer.
I have had the privilege of working at RDA for 12 years. Throughout my career I have been dedicated to driving meaningful social change by supporting government and social sector organizations in developing policy, programs, and operational strategies to build more equitable and sustainable communities. In the last decade, I’ve become equally passionate about guiding and scaling our growing consultancy, addressing the challenges of today’s economy to build a sustainable business and an inclusive and engaging culture.
In the coming years, I look forward to working with my colleagues and co-owners as well as our clients and partners to continue our legacy of service, partnership, and innovation to improve individual opportunities and community wellbeing.
Warm regards,
Amalia

This transition would not be possible without the guidance and financial support from Gundzik Gundzik Heeger LLP, Project Equity, Community Vision Capital & Consulting, and Mission Driven Finance.

This difference is simply and beautifully defined by Weyodi OldBear, a writer and self-described…
